The Truth About Paul Robertson

In May 2006, a curious website appeared, titling itself  ‘Parkcrest Construction Information‘. It used a domain name that insinuated it was connected to the long established, very reputable estate agents, Murray and Hayward.

It appeared to be an attempt to malign the reputation of myself, Parkcrest Construction and Murray and Hayward. It disingenuously stops short of libel, but the intentions are clear.

Astonishingly, it transpired that the  registrant of this site was one Hamish Robertson – the son of a convicted criminal who disgracefully used his position as a GP to swindle a disabled pensioner out of his life savings. Jailed as a result he was unsurprisingly also struck off by the General Medical Council.

His wife Ann appears to have authored the site, which is irony in itself, since she too later became embroiled in controversy when it transpired that she had set up a counselling service – and used previous patient records to write offering their services. Hamish Robertson, the son describes himself on his twitter site as: an 18 year old A Level student, medical school reject, waiter – he doesn’t mention though his murky family history or his penchant for setting up malicious websites.

Annoyingly, it has proven very difficult to get the offending site removed – but at least people can judge for themselves the difference between reputable people and businesses and this family with questionable moral issues.
